Protecting your loved ones

I've started all of my veggies and herbs from seed this year.

I've got:
peppers of many varieties (italian frying pepper, sweet banana, red bell, purple bell, chocolate bell, etc.)

Little Marvel Peas

Birdhouse Gourd

Zucchini

Cucumber

Chinese Lantern

Strawberry (not started from seed, but last years runner plants)

Artichoke

Carrots

Spinach

Roma Tomato

Sweet & lime basil

Cilantro

Dill

Italian parsley

Fennel

Is that it??

Well, I will *not* have my hard work go to waste on a squirrel. They dig and dig and ruin, kill!, my plants. I've tried a few different methods to deter them.

Chicken wire, stone "mulch", cayenne pepper sprinkled on top of the soil, and plastic bottle "cloches". So far so good. Keep hoping for the best.
