Rumor has it that strawberries can be quite bitter in their first year, but I've got high hopes. Otherwise, I'll anticipate sweetness on my tongue this time next year!
My first ripening berry and I'm quite excited. If it doesn't taste delicious, at least it gives me something adorable to look at!
More berries to come.
